For this GIVE MIAMI DAY, Rotary Club of Key Biscayne is focus on raising $42,000 to buy a VAN to transport sick and disabled children to medical treatments in Dominican Republic
Members of Rotary Club of Key Biscayne recently visited NPH (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos) , a Charitable Organization in the Dominican Republic (DR) that houses and cares for over 200 children from Haiti and the DR ranging in age from 2 to 18. Many of these children have severe illnesses and disabilities.
The only vehicle this facility has for transporting children who are sick with cancer to their radiation appointments over an hour away is a dilapidated old van that is unsafe, barely functional and far from sanitary.
Rotary Club of Key Biscayne is spearheading an effort to buy a new 16 seater VAN for this incredible organization!
We need to raise $42,000 for this effort, and every dollar helps!
Rotary Club of Key Biscayne is devoting 100% of the monies raised in our 2023 Give Miami Day effort to the purchase of a VAN for these children.
Please visit www.GiveMiamiDay.org/KBRotary and make your gift any time from Monday, November 13 when the donation portal goes live, to Thursday, November 16th before midnight.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity. We will get there - one donation at a time.
